Rutland and Melton MP, Alicia Kearns, has gained further reassurance from the Government of their commitment to ending LGBT 'conversion therapy'.
Since becoming an MP in December, this has been Ms Kearns' primary national policy ask of Government, and she has already received the backing of the Prime Minister and Health Secretary on this campaign.
The Equalities Minister confirmed to Alicia that the Government is undertaking research, which they hope will be completed by the end of this month (September), with legislative action to follow shortly.
