Alicia Kearns has called for the Foreign Secretary to update the House on the outcomes of his recent visit to China.
Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:
"Diplomacy demands the ability to secure outcomes, not just engagement for engagement’s sake.
"When expectations of the Foreign Secretary’s visit to China fell short, he should have addressed them with grace, not hostility. Quite extraordinary the reaction to accountability."
