Alicia Kearns MP is hosting a public meeting on the A1 to hear from residents what priorities they have for improvements to the A1.
The public meeting will take place on Friday 15th November from 18.00 - 19.30 at the South Witham Village Hall, Water Lane, South Witham, NG33 5PH.
The meeting is open to anyone who lives along or drives the A1 regularly and lives in the constituency of Rutland and Stamford.
To attend the meeting, please RSVP here.
Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:
“The A1 is failing us as a critical artery for our country. Short slip roads, dangerous central reservation crossings and poorly designed junctions put our communities at risk every day.
“I am relieved National Highways has confirmed a priority request of mine to conduct a review of the A1’s central reservation crossings and come for a drive-along with me to see the issues first-hand.
“This is welcome progress, however there is still more I want to do, and I look forward to hearing directly from residents who experience the dangers of the A1 on a daily basis.”
