Alicia Kearns MP visited Oakham C of E and The Parks School to hear more about Rutland County Council's review of SEND funding for Rutland.
Alicia Kearns, MP for Rutland and Melton said:
"This school is a wonderful assert for our community, ensuring our children in Rutland get the very best start in life. RCC's review will consult on early years SEND provision, including The Parks School, to ensure that all children in Rutland are able to access the services they deserve.
"Last month I was also pleased that the Government announced their new SEND plan, increasing investment in SEND support and helping reduce waiting times for assessments.
"Too many children have to come to my team and I for help when they have been waiting longer than they should for SEND assessments, so I welcome the Government's new plan."
