Rutland and Melton MP Alicia Kearns has welcomed that expectant mothers will be prioritised for a roll-out of 15-minute COVID-19 tests to ensure that they can have a partner by their side for support.

Following Ms Kearns’ extensive campaign to ensure all expectant mothers could have a loved one with them for all stages of labour and scans, the Prime Minister and Health Secretary delivered this support for pregnant women.

The Rutland and Melton MP thanked Julia Hartley-Brewer for her continuing support in the campaign.
