Alicia Kearns MP met with the Nottingham Community Housing Association to discuss how to end the sewage issues for residents in Corby Glen.
Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:
"Residents in Corby Glen have been left with the intolerable smell of sewage for far too long.
"During the election I met with residents, I’ve spoken to many since, and last week I met with the Nottingham Community Housing Association, one of the developers involved in works around Swinstead Road, and I am continuing to meet with all parties involved to get residents the results and accountability they deserve. There are further meetings in forthcoming weeks.
"I will also ensure the Council steps up to listen to residents’ concerns and holds the developer and water companies to account, which they have so far failed to do."
