The founder of the wonderful Oakham Neighbours COVID-19 Facebook Support Group is calling for volunteers to assist with Rutland’s vaccination programme.
The centre will be open from 8am-6pm and volunteers will be needed for 3 shifts each day.
The voluntary roles are mostly outdoors (in all weathers). Until the end of January, volunteers will need to be flexible in response to last minute requests, however from February onwards, especially as the Oxford vaccine rolls out, the work pattern will settle down and volunteers should be able to go in for regular slots each week.
