Uppingham Community College and Langham Church of England Primary School are set to receive investment from the Government’s Condition Improvement Fund to improve the condition of school buildings.
The Department for Education administers Condition Improvement Funding to address significant condition needs to keep education providers’ buildings safe and in good working order. This includes funding projects that address health and safety issues, building compliance and buildings in poor condition.
Funding will be invested in:

Uppingham Community College: urgent roofing works

Langham Church of England Primary School: fire safety and compliance
This is on top of the funding from Government for the major refurbishment of Casterton College which it is hoped will be completed by April 2025.
In the East Midlands, 86 projects were successful and a total of £34,821,930 of funding was awarded from the Condition Improvement Fund.
