Alicia Kearns MP has submitted her final representation to the Mallard Pass Solar Plant Planning Inspectorate, following a request for further information on:
- The progress for a highways deal between Rutland County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, and the developers.
- Progress towards a deal for the developers to use network rails cabling to transport energy from the project.
- Whether an assessment has been carried out into the impact the development would have on the rate Great Crested Newt Species.
Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Melton, said:
"Thank you to everyone who took the time to write in with their concerns, and in particular a special thank you to Mallard Pass Action Group whose work in bringing together our communities has been phenomenal.
"Now we wait for the final decision in one months' time!"
