Rutland and Melton MP Alicia Kearns has sought clarifications from the Prime Minister on penalties for breaking the lockdown from the Prime Minister.
Ms Kearns raised that "constituents of Rutland and Melton have written to [her] about the few persistent offenders who continue to flout the rules" and asked the Prime Minister how the Government planned to deter such behaviours.
In response, the Prime Minister laid out the deterrence scheme that sees initial offenders paying a £100 fine, with the penalty doubling for each offence up to £3,600.
