The Government has published eight guides covering a range of different types of work which you will find linked below. It is important to note that many businesses operate more than one type of workplace such as an office, factory and fleet of vehicles.
I understand the extreme disruption the necessary actions we are taking have had on your businesses and I am immensely grateful for your patience and resilience at this most difficult of times.
Our objective remains to return to our way of life as soon as it is safe to do so, to protect both lives and livelihoods. The roadmap I shared with you yesterday maps out how we might achieve this, providing we all continue to do our part to beat the virus both at home and at work.
I encourage you to read the guides that apply to your workplace and to implement the Government recommendations. Further industry specific guidance and announcements will follow - for example I expect news for our estate agents and home removals industries this week. I am confident that Rutland and Melton’s business owners will stand by their employees and country as we slowly return to full health.
